The Product Quality Engineer (PQE) will be responsible for providing quality support to automotive customers, mainly in Japan.
As part of the IJKK Quality Support Center (QSC), you will be responsible for managing customer FACR (Functional Analysis and Correlation Request) cases, validating customer reported failures to assess the risk of quality and/or reliability, as part of Intel Q&R support, automotive customers. Uses all IJKK QSC testing systems (ATE/PPV/CPV/CRB etc) to perform component failure analysis and debug, then compose engineering evaluation report to customer. Work with worldwide partner QSC, FA team and Division teams to evaluate the electrical and mechanical characteristics of Intel products to determine the root cause of failure. Analyzes failure reports on corrective action to prevent reoccurrence of problems at customer.
You also will be responsible to forecast/setup/maintain FA test capability for Intel automotive products in IJKK QSC lab to provide FA support for customers.
Strives to improve QSC operation efficiency and proliferate shared learning across partner QSC sites. Maintain necessary records and reports. Performs other related duties as required or as directed.
|You should possess a relevant educational qualification with strong communication skill, team work skill, engineering knowledge and expertise, preferably with more than five years of work experience in automotive area hardware and/or software design and/or development, or silicon component engineering or quality and reliability, or component manufacturing or board and/or system manufacturing.
Additional qualifications include:
- Logical thinking, statistical data analysis skill
- Strong issue management for cross organizational environment
- Excellent communication skills and proficiency in English (verbal/written) and Japanese in order to work with various teams worldwide. More than 730 in TOEIC would be required for effective and efficient communication to offshore counterparts.
