・Provides consultative integration and application design input to the prospect or customer. This includes presenting sales demonstrations with a focus on proactive promotion of business case solutions.
・Prepares and validates “Return on Investment” analyses for each project pre-sales and post implementation.
・Participates in joint sales calls with the members of the Vocollect sales team for the purpose of providing technical support.
・Assists with training partners to increase their ability to sell, implement, and support Vocollect solutions.
・Interacts with and inquires business needs from various customer representatives ranging from executives, senior operations management, IT representatives, warehouse operations management, and end-users throughout the pre-sales process.
・Documents the initial system design and application requirements during the presales process; generates the initial system architecture documents; plus working with the Implementation Project Manager (IPM) to obtain the required budgetary estimates relating to New Feature Requests and system change requests.
・Responsible for complex, in-depth technical support and product assistance in the selection portion of the sales process.
|・Must possess a college degree or equivalent work experience, a general knowledge of supply chain distribution logistics.
・Three to five years of on-site customer support experience including experience managing multiple, complex projects from start to completion; and 3-5 years in pre-sales support roles and situations related to sales demonstrations, sales meetings, and customer negotiations.
・Demonstrated success in applying various solutions within differing environments.
・Working knowledge of TCP/IP, FTP, DHCP, Telnet, routing, and client/server computing as well as general networking concepts, protocols, and related diagnostic and troubleshooting tools.
・Proven ability to manage projects and to prioritize workloads in a dynamic and progressive work environment.
