||Achieve sales plan objectives with assigned clients and targets by effectively selling Ocean products.
・ Ensure return on sales investment (ROI) meets or exceeds target on Local level in the
・ Generate business with assigned Country Accounts and targets in line with the sales plan
・ Provide client and target information, maintain CRM
・ Drive growth of the responsible target customers within the Country by ensuring
appropriate collaboration in the Country within Sales and across Product Ocean function
・ Developing long-term partnerships and increasing share of wallet from assigned customers
・ Compile customer target list in close cooperation with Country Head of Sales
・ Escalate pricing and market issues on target accounts to stakeholders.
・ Report on market information, competitor activities, product issues etc.
・ Ensure the target account to be reviewed and updated on regular bases with reporting line and/or Country Head of Sales.
・ Ensure appropriate opportunities through the Regional opportunity board
・ Ensure all Country RFQ opportunities follow the Tender Management process including
timely pre-RFQ strategy and alignment with Product
・ Align and agree on strategic bid prioritization with country TM, sales, product, and
・ Ensure RFI & RFQ post-bid analysis is created and shared and corrective actions are
aligned and agreed with Sales and Product functions
・ Focuses on the customer’s expectations and strategy and adapts approach accordingly
・ Follows and acts on market trends and industry developments
・ Deep understanding of industry supply chains, developments and trends
・ Ability and willingness to effectively live and manage the matrix organization
・ Ability to work with different cultures
・ Good communication, presentation, negotiation and interpersonal skills
Educational background / Work experience
・ Functional experience in sea / customs brokerage
・Ocean Freight Forwarding sales/NVOCC Sales experience
・ Sales experience
・ Local market knowledge (customers, competitors, suppliers)
・ Expertise and professionalism in customer contacts, understanding of customer
requirements, analysis and resolution of problems and complaints
・ Fluency in English mandatory (written and spoken)
