||Provide 1st and 2nd line support to Traders covering on－boarding, trading applications setup, executions, and post trade processing. This role involves extensive face－to－face, telephone, and email interactions with various Trading groups, associated business units and other technical teams. Respond to queries from Traders, Portfolio Managers and other business units in a professional and structured manner.
Reporting to the manager in Singapore.
・Support of all third party and internal applications used within the company.
・Lead or participate in a variety of projects that involve Portfolio Manager on－boarding, system evaluation, new system deployment, and documentation.
・Perform operational tasks such as application setup, account setup, limits changes, problem tracking, and report generation.
・Monitor connectivity and market risk applications and proactively resolve errors.
・Act as the first point of contact for all trading application queries and requests from the Traders and Portfolio Manager
・Minimum 3 years’ experience in trade floor production support.
・Good understand of various asset classes （Equities, FX, and Fixed Income）.
・Understanding of market data systems such as Bloomberg or Reuters.
・Detail oriented; demonstrates thoroughness and strong ownership of work
・Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
・Customer service oriented with a strong sense of urgency and time management
・Able to multi－task in a fast－paced environment and deliver under pressure.
・Strong problem solving skills.
・Able to navigate in Unix and Windows proficiently, experience in reading logs generated by systems processes and in performing level 1 and level 2 troubleshooting.
・Knowledge in Unix shell scripting.
・Knowledge of FIX and TCP/IP are advantageous but not required. Experience in TIBCO or any middleware is preferred.
・Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related fields.
