仕事内容 Position Summary
The JAPAN Employee Relations Consultant provides “hands on” support for employees, people managers and business leaders in the resolution of employment and performance related issues across the Johnson & Johnson Family of Companies. The incumbent provides “front line” support in dealing with employee conflict, poor performance management, grievances, discipline management, investigations and other employee relations matters. The work is performed under general guidance from the Employee Relations Manager, JAPAN HR Leadership team and local legal counsel.

Major Duties & Responsibilities
50% Acts as the primary support person for people managers providing direct intervention and “hands on support” in resolving employee and performance related issues.

20% Participates in developing and implementing solutions during and after periods of change (e.g. acquisition, internal growth, restructuring, downsizings) eg. provides customer facing support to business leaders and people managers during organization re-structures especially in relation to working through impacts, consultation processes, scripts, documentation and other

20% Provide group and one-on-one coaching with managers and employees to support leadership development, business decision-making, problem solving and performance management.
Develop and deliver employee relations training, including people manager and employee training on harassment, bullying, appropriate workplace behaviors and other requirements.

5% Supports the design, development, and implementation of proactive Employee Relations practices and policies for all locations and building organizational capability across all people managers.
5% Regularly audit internal workforce practices, including contractor management, to ensure

Other Duties & Responsibilities
Assist JAPAN HR Leadership Team, with planning and implementing cluster & regional HR initiatives and projects.
応募資格 Required Qualifications
Required Minimum Education: Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent in Human Resources or Industrial Relations or Law Degree
Required Years of Related Experience: Generally requires 5+ years of general HR experience. Employee Relations experience is plus.

Required Knowledge, Skills and Abilities (Uncompromised requirements for the role):
(Include any required computer skills, certifications, licenses, languages, etc.)
・Must have a basic understanding and working knowledge of applicable Japanese labor and employment laws and a good understanding of relevant associated laws.
・A working knowledge of various types of employee benefit and compensation plans.
・The successful candidate will be a strategic thinker with the ability to execute on a strategy. Will have analytical skills, results oriented, and strong business acumen. Demonstrated ability to collaborate and build strong partnerships.
・Strong written, verbal communications and presentation skills required.
