Manage all the strategic and tactical aspects of the Life Sciences Business in the Region. Work actively in cooperation with the APAC Director and with the General Managers of the Region to ensure that the Life Sciences strategy is implemented to plan. The individual will also be Responsible for meeting sales / revenue and profit targets for the Life Science Business in the Region.
Provide support for the regional sales organization, including but not limited to product selection and pricing, delivery, factory logistics and technical support when required for all products Actively work with APAC Director and with General Managers to identify business opportunities both in current markets served and new market opportunities within the company's defined strategy.
Effectively manage the pipeline of opportunities with the General Managers so that a realistic sales forecast can be completed on time; support APAC Director as needed in sales forecasting for the Region.
Produce reports for the Life Sciences VP including new customers' needs, new technologies and/or new applications in the market; competitor's activities including new products, technology, strategy and tactics, as well as any other information useful to optimize the Life Sciences Division strategy.
Actively work with Product Line Managers during Voice of the Customer activities to define the technical requirement for the development of new products. Participate in the launch of new products in terms of strategic positioning. Participate and actively lead training to sales forces.
Available to support sales representatives on customer visits in the field.
