As part of our 5-year growth plan, Hays Japan is expanding and looking to add an experienced Marketing Manager to lead, consult and develop our local marketing strategy and projects.
This is a unique opportunity for an experienced Japan-focused marketing generalist to join us in a leadership and people management capacity, working directly with senior stakeholders regionally, Asia and UK-HQ.
Your New Role
As Marketing Manager for Japan, you will be responsible for driving overall marketing strategy in alignment with regional and global priorities. You manage a team of two and be comfortable setting strategy as a hands-on executor.
Responsibilities of the role will include
・ Plan and execute marketing initiatives to support business objectives
・ Lead brand development for the region, in line with the Group Marketing strategy and direction
・ Oversee content and effectiveness of external digital channels (job board suppliers and platforms) in Japan
・ Track and measure marketing effectiveness across channels and optimize plans to ensure ROI on all activities.
・ Manage the PR activities and external agency to ensure Group Corporate Communications guidelines in dealing with news and media channels are carefully adhered to.
・ Lead and grow a team of two marketers. Develop best practices, and foster an open, creative and high-performance work environment
・ Monitor market developments and competitor activity to help keep Hays ahead of the market
・ Provide insight and business development ideas for extending client relationships
What you’ll need to succeed
・ Strong experience of executing strategic marketing plans across digital and traditional media in the Japanese market
・ Strong digital marketing skills and demonstrated experience with SEO, PPC, Email, Social Media
・ Excellent people management skills
・ Demonstrated skills for Public Relations and Event Management (B2B and B2C)
