Our client is a US based Asset Management company which has a boutique and niche product range in Japan. They have over 2000 employees globally with offices across North America, Europe, Oceania and Asia.
Your new role
Your role as a Head of HR for the Japan office is to provide strategic approach and support to the Business on all Human Resources matters for help grow the business in Japan. In particular matters relating to employee relations, labour policies, performance management and hiring. Regular meeting with regional and global offices will also be required.
What you'll need to succeed
To be successful in this position, you are required to have at least 15 years of HR Generalist, HR Manager experience from the financial industry, particular from the asset management field would be a plus. Fluent in both Japanese and English and able to communicate with senior level executives and management would be essential. Strength in Employee relations and Human Resources planning and budgeting.
