Job Summary
Assist Head of Leadership and Talent Development in the building and sustaining of a strong leadership pipeline, in the reporting on talent development, in the driving of the MLJ-wide performance management process, as well as in the annual MLJ-wide recognition process called MLJ Awards.
Responsibilities
Quarterly Talent Review processes Scheduling talent reviews as well as prepping HRBPs and SEOs for quarterly talent reviews
Monthly updates of talent database for quarterly SEO talent reviews, as well as EO GG13-11 talent reviews
Regular reporting on talent scorecard (to be developed)
Leadership development program development and implementation Driving nomination process and education in the implementation of MLJ talent development programs (e.g.:Leadership Acceleration Program, Shoji Project, Japan Market Expansion Competition ‐ JMEC, etc.)
Coordinating with regional or global partners in driving nomination process and/or education in the implementation of MetLife talent development programs (e.g.: Senior Leadership Development Center, Finance Immersion, Navigating with Purpose, etc.)
Quarterly Performance Development Process Driving the global quarterly performance management process in Japan by coordinating with HRBPs and educating MLJ associates; marketing sense required
MetLife Awards Driving the annual MLJ Awards process from scheduling, nominations, reviewing and revising of nominee summaries, coordination with nominees, HRBPs and leaders to finalized short list, and final presentations to get to final decision |
応募資格 |
Bachelor and above degree
At least 10 years of extensive experience in business partnering role in Human Resources in a COE capacity at multi-national environment
Proficient in both written and spoken English and Japanese
Broad knowledge of Human Resources management, training development and labor law
Understanding of data analytics and statistics and translating into business language Effective business partnering (advisory, consultation, interpersonal, presentation and influencing) and communication skills
Strong project management, time management, priorities management and execution skills
Ability to work across time zones in a global and regional team
Strategic thinking skills yet action oriented
Language: Japanese Advanced, English Intermediate
