The business analyst is responsible for leading the regular closing process and mid/long term business planning of Global Professional Business. And drive or facilitate projects to optimize cross regional initiatives; reporting, logistics, communication, target panning and GTM strategy realization.
Roles & Responsibilities:
Regulate the Year, Mid- and Long-term plans of HQ as well as overseas offices to correspond with Div. Policy.
Plan solution strategies or offer local support for various important issues in overseas offices (new business/process planning & implementations etc.). Promote the plans.
Ensure timely and accurate monthly/annual closing with financials' controllership
Monitoring and control of division performance
Grasp, analyze the profit results and forecasts of the overseas offices. Offer opinions and work out measures for the improvement of the profitability toward the achievement of the overseas business sales budget.
Improve the management quality of division through structural reform and product quality improvements.
Support and train peers with financial and accounting knowledge
Strengthen management of overseas subsidiaries by utilizing our standard audit and internal control system.
Monitor monthly esults and provide GAP anaysis in cooperation with region/group managers
rganize monthly monitoring meetings with regions and brands
Minumum 5-10 years experience in business, and 3 years or more for industrial experience (University graduate level will be a plus.BA/BS degree or equivarent)
Strong written and verbal communications skills in both English and Japanese; Ability to manage each level of stakeholders and influence others.
Financial knowledge (accounting, audit, management and internal control)
Operational excellence and process improvement understanding (forecasts and inventory control, logistics, authorization process)
・Must be a clear thinker and a self-starter with a can-do-attitude, high ethics, open minded and business acumen
Coach and lead junior staffs with financial expertise
Influencing skills to involve
Has experience and aspiration to lead improvement of IT platform and processes
Ability to dive deep and develop innovative ideas for process challenges
